Not a song and not an inscription between the inner grooves, but a little sound right on the groove! (It was in American LP Rarities, by Beatles.)

Another record with a "hidden" message is Joe Walsh's album "The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get" (I think that's the title, but it's possible that it's another Joe Walsh album, or mybe even a James Gang record). On this disk, if you play it with a turntable that doesn't have an automatic tone-arm lift-off at the end of the record, there are "messages" in the end groove on both sides. Side 1 says "Turn me over!" repeatedly, and Side 2 says "Play me again!". Anyone recall which Joe Walsh/James Gang record this is? Bob Schleicher ihuxk!rs55611

RE: Not a song and not an inscription between the inner grooves, but a little sound right on the groove! A musical inscription of this sort also appeared on a copy of "The WHO Sell Out!". It begins as the turntable arm starts to swing over toward the center of the record and then plays a continuous loop thereafter that does not include the first two beats. So it goes in Kazoo baa-ba baa naa baa baa naa baaa.......
