Yeah, I've read the paragraph. Take a look at the rest of Scripture, my
man. There are hundreds of places where the Death Penalty is called for, even
for eating unclean things, and for lieing with a betrothed woman. God's Law
proscribes dertain death for murderers. Even Christ Himself tells Christians
to sell their cloaks and buy swords.

When the Israeli UN Protectorate executed Eichmann, they had to pass an
Ex Post Facto law to provide for his execution.

Now, I guess you might say they do have a death penalty of sorts. I
guess if you happen to be a Tunisian, and you happen to live near the PLO
headquarters, then I guess the penalty is death.

"...accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to
suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the
forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and
usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce
them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw
off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
