A while after KAL 007 went down, the wife of somebody who died on that flight sued Korean Airlines, the government of Korea, Boeing, Litton (they made the airplane's instruments), and the company that made the airplane's engines. Perhaps if she had known who made the rubber in the airplane's tires, *they* would have been included, too. After a man shot a whole bunch of people in a MacDonald's restaurant, a relative of one of the victims sued MacDonald's for damages. I saw both of these gems reported in the newspaper, but I never saw what became of them. Does anybody know how these cases ended? Did the defendants have to waste much time or money? -- David Canzi "Permission is not freedom."
