I applaud Jim Balter in the current raging debate he's engaged in with
Jan Wasilewsky. It seems Jim has made an issue of Jan's "intellectual
honesty" and rightly so. Jan may not be intellectually honest but he is
clever and has thus far steered clear of Jim's points while trying to
paint a picture of censorship among his other opponents.
It remains to be seen though if Jan still will maintain his position.
He has suggested that the discussion might help him change his mind.
This observer thinks that the current arguments expressed would give him
all the reason in the world to do just that, if indeed Jan is being
honest with us.
Just calling 'em as I see 'em.
