---------------------Reply to mail dated 5-DEC-1985 05:19--------------------- I know how the present U.S. adminstration would act. They would give all out support to the South African government. The reason being that it would be perfect proof of a "communist" conspricy. The Cubans are attacking and will take away democracy or the chance for demeocracy the black people have. Since the adminsitration will say that the present government is moving towards freedom for the blacks. What should they do well I do think that they should be opposed to the move but not give support to the present government. It is true that Castro and gang are not democratic and the people would probably end up under some kind of totalatarian regime. If this happened possible what the US should do is help move in with US troops and help the blacks set up a democratic regime. If only Cuban troops are there when the blacks win (and in the long run they will) then they would be in control. If US troops are there also then we being the larger nation and more powerful would have more say. So I say a joint effort would be the best move. Brian Mahoney
