Israel's main interest is protecting Israeli citizens. Muslims used to make random attacks on Jews when they ruled the whole area and there was no Israel. Denying territory to Muslims seems to have decreased Muslim violence and the effectiveness of Muslim violence. Until there is some evidence that Muslims have changed their behavior and attitudes there is no reason whatsoever to concede more territory to Muslims anywhere.
