         STAR WARS: CAN THE COMPUTING REQUIREMENTS BE MET?



CPSR = Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility


The next CPSR/Boston meeting will feature a videotape presentation of
the Star Wars debate held at MIT's Kresge Auditorium in October and
co-sponsored by CPSR/Boston and the MIT Laboratory for Computer
Science.  This debate featured two members of the SDI panel, Profs.
Danny Cohen and Charles Seitz, arguing for SDI, and two well known
opponenents, Profs. David Parnass and Joseph Weizenbaum arguing against.

			7:30 General Meeting


CPSR/Boston holds meetings on the third Wednesday of each month, in
the lunge of the 8th floor of the MIT AI Laboratory, 545 Technology
Square at the corner of Main and Vassar Streets in Cambridge.
