Somebody asks: Where are the insurance companies?

Well my insurance company is lobbying for airbags! They are so convinced
that airbags are effective that they retrofitted their entire company
fleet with airbags (at great expense since the retrofit is not
commercially available, but was available to them) and are planning to
introduce discounts to those customers that use airbags (currently only
Mercedes and BMW owners).

To alice!jj:

I have never advocated ***MANDITORY*** airbags, please take the time to
read what you criticise. I have advocated whatever methods it will take to
get the american and japanese auto manufacturers to include them as an
****option****. Your comments about the dangers of airbags are based on the
disinformation that the auto manufacturers are providing and probably a
reluctance to pay for any furthur safety devices. Your emotional tirade about
trying to kill you by helping you is utter nonesense.
