This message seems to have missed its original audience in ont.uucp and net.news.config, so here it is again. Note that the cutover has happened; all of utcsstat's uucp and news connections have moved or are moving to utcs. --- As far as I can tell, utcsstat's news and uucp connections will move to a new machine named utcs on or about Sunday, Sept. 23, 1984. Our uucp neighbours will need to change the name utcsstat to utcs in your L.sys files and USERFILE's when the switch is made. I would ask that decvax, ihnp4 and utzoo continue polling utcsstat, which will be PACX class 71 after the switch, for about two weeks to allow delivery of mis-addressed mail. Non-statistical users are being moved to utcs, but mail arriving at utcsstat will be forwarded to utcs for a short while. utcsstat will be reachable after the switch as utcs!utcsstat. ---
