Due to building maintenance, Sidney Smith will be locked from 5 p.m. Friday, Feb 12 to 8:00 a.m. Monday, Feb 15. Because the supply of cooling water to the airconditioner in the "sun room" may be interupted, we feel that the airconditioner should be turned off. For this reason, and because we would like to be able to cover up the equipment "just in case", we will be shutting down everything Friday evening. Other sites should simply note that utstat will not be receiving mail and news for the duration. Statistics users will not be able to log on during this period. Biostats users are reminded that although utensil, bugs and uturn will be up, RJE, mail and news, as well as dial-ins, will not work while stat is down. We will try to start bringing up the system at 9:00 Monday morning, please remember that the process is not instantaneous, and will take up to 1/2 hour (if all goes well).
