I have a two year old persian that I must give away for 2 reasons: I am getting married in June to a person who is not fond of cats (but wants to have lots of dogs) We will probably have to move out of the country in about a year, and I'm not sure if there might be problems with a cat (we will get the dogs later). Cleo is the cutest thing--I posted a message a couple months ago about how she always sits like a human--with her legs sprawled out in front of her, and sleeps on her back, tempting you to tickle her tummy. She is declawed and spayed and is strictly an indoor cat. She has never had a flea problem. I think she would be great as a family cat. I hate to give her up, but if I can find a good home, I think it's best for her. It would REALLY be great if someone up North wanted to take her and rescue her from this Texas heat! (I made an appointment to have her shaved, but just couldn't do it.) I'm willing to pay shipping charges for her to a good home. Please direct any inquiries to : lisalis@emx.utexas.edu
