Enthusiastic support of this event will support the efforts to install a permanent facility in the Sandford Fleming building to receive these kind of events live, as well as record them. Details: In this panel discussion, supercomputers will be defined both in technical and practical terms. Viewers will learn who build them, where they are, and how they can be accessed. Participants will be exposed to the "ins and outs" of using supercomputers by examining relevant aspects of architecture, performance, vectorization and so on.
