Paul Muir, a former Computer-Science (UofT) grad-student who is now a faculty member of St. Mary's University in Halifax, is planning to spend his 1990-91 sabbatical at the UofT. He'd appreciate any help that we can give him in finding appropriate accommodation for two (i.e, himself and his girl-friend, who will be a PhD student at York U.) His plans at this time are flexible: he'd like to arrive in Toronto some time during the summer of 1990 and return to Halifax some time during the summer of 1991. More importantly, he wants to commute to the UofT St. George campus by TTC daily "in a finite amount of time". Also, commuting time to York U. is of concern. He's interested in renting a small house or condo, or sub-leasing an apartment, from someone who will be away from Toronto during that period. Alternatively, he could take over the lease of an apartment from anyone who is vacating one next summer. Paul is an extremely reliable and conscientious fellow. He'd be an ideal tenant for anyone taking a 1990-91 sabbatical and wishing to rent their house / condo or sub-lease their apartment during that time. If you know of any suitable accommodation, please contact Paul Muir directly at MUIR@HUSKY1.STMARYS.CA. In addition, he'll be in Toronto Aug 3-7 if you'd like to talk with him or meet him. --------------------- Prof. Kenneth R.
