I am interested in finding out about computers costing under $1 million which would be an order of magnitude faster than the VAX 11/780. I have heard that the Elexsi, a new computer, is described by the company as having a 4MFLOPs rating. The Gould SEL is also suppose to be much faster than the VAX, an advertisements claim they have UNIX(tm). Can anyone comment on these or other machines in their class? I am interested in prices, software, speed, reliability, etc. -Jon
