Convex Computer says that their computer is a RISC design. They do floating point on it, and, if I got it right, all arithmetic instructions take the same time. If anybody has questions, they're supposed to mail me some technical info. (Performance is supposed to be 10-20 x an 11/780.) --henry schaffer ncsu
