I realize that this request doesn't fit the normal idea of architecture/micros but I'm not sure there is a more appropiate group. Does anybody have experience with the new Programmable Array Logic (PAL) design aids? I've used PALASM (MMI's version) for a number of months and I'm pretty tired of its restrictions. I know of two products out there: CUPL from Assisted Technologies and ABEL from Data/IO. I'm in the market to buy something like what these two companies are offering but can't really decide based on the glossy brochures (and their IBM PC demo disks.) Does anybody have any experience with either product? Since this doesn't really fit into the newsgroup please reply directly to me and if there is interest I'll summarize for the net. Thanks.
