It seems that process migration is a popular topic of late. I also am interested in hearing from people, corporations, universities etc. that have designed and implemented or just designed (or even thought about) dynamic process migration for their environments/configurations. I am willing to recieve any information you may wish to send regarding your distributed operating system environment but in particular I am looking for the decision processes included in the dynamic migration process ( things such as When to migrate, Where to migrate, Who to migrate, do you have a centralized or distributed decision making process, etc. ). The justification for my request? I am currently doing research in dynamic process migration and am attempting to implement such a facility on a locally designed operating system. If you have some information, I would really like to hear from you.
