What computers have multiple page sizes ? IBM S/370 POPS says it has 2K and 4K pages ? What about newer IBM 370 family ? 3090 ? I'm mostly interested in current machines. Steve Schlesinger {ihnp4, ucbvax!sdcsvax}!ncr-sd!steves

The Control Data CYBER 205 has large and small pages, where a large page is 65,536 64-bit words (that's half a meg for you weird people who measure memory in bytes). A small page may be 512, 2048 or 8192 words (but only one of the above on any given system). -- Dave Seaman pur-ee!pucc-h!ags "You would think the President would spend his time worrying about Russia or China. I dont think you can change the size w/out trashing all the existing pages; I think the machine I once used changed page-size when it got a newer CPU and more physical memory ... but it was a long time ago. -Jem. -- JANET: taylor%glasgow.uucp@uk.ac.ed.cstvax -o Jemima UUCP: { uk }!cstvax!glasgow.uucp!taylor (==).
