[net.arch] Benchmark Sources

lamaster@nike.UUCP (Hugh LaMaster) (08/14/86)

I would like to know whether there are available benchmark
programs already set up and available for commonly used
benchmarks. Benchmarks that I am interested in specifically
are:

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory "Livermore Loops"
The Dhrystone benchmark (mentioned in this newsgroup)
The Whetstone benchmark
The Dongarra Linpack benchmarks
The Gabriel LISP benchmarks

Any graphics performance benchmarks that anyone knows about
that are based on GKS or CORE standards.

Any other well known, standard, or well documented general
purpose benchmarks that anyone knows about.

Please mail responses directly to me. I will summarize the
information for the net if I get a good response.

I am aware of a number of references to these benchmarks but
they do not generally give complete programs, which I am
looking for. Thank you.
