[net.arch] Looking for refs. for Remote Procedure Call/Stub Compilers

If anyone has pointers to articles on remote procedure call in general and
stub compilers to automatically generate RPC calls for a host language,
could you please mail them to me?  If I get enough requests I can post or
mail out a reference list.
