Does anybody have any information on Ada compiler systems targeted for common microprocessors (i.e., 68k, 86, 16k,...). I know that Telesoft has available a partial implementation for 68k/UNIX systems, and that Softech is working on an 8086/iRMX86 implementation. I am trying to locate all efforts that are targeted for relatively small and efficient REAL-TIME run-time executives (preferably for those execs that I can get my hands on the source code). I have no desire to tear into an Ada compiler, but would sure like to experiment with the underlying run-time system. Partial implementations are also of interest as long as they have most of the tasking model (inc. task types), generics, and dynamic allocators implemented. Any information, suggestions, and/or comments on the above would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg Buzzard sb1!mb2c!uofm-cv!buzc P.S. Is anybody interested in opening up debates on interesting ada features? We could start with the tasking model: one_way naming, synchronous operation only, inability to mix accepts and entry calls in a select statement, etc.; or generics; or run-time environment interfaces...
