Biography: DOUG BRYAN

BS in Computer Science/Physics and Math in 1978.
Member of the Lockheed LRM review team that submitted over
          3_000 comments.
Member of the Lockheed programming team that acted as a Beta Site
for the Rolm MSE-800, Rolm Ada compiler and symbolic debugger.
I have been programming in Ada full time for over a year.
Major effort has been an implementation of GKS and a window
          oriented human-machine interface for a C**3 I system.

Abstract: AN ADA IMPLEMENTATION OF GKS

GKS, the graphical kernel system is the ISO standard for 2-D
interactive color graphics. The paper will discuss issues involved
with doing an Ada binding as well as an Ada implementation of
GKS. Also discussed are lessons learned by implementing the 12_000
line package using an early Ada compiler. Sam Harbaugh,
formerly of Harris Corp., Melbourne, Florida, will also
        participate.
