When you submit messages to info-ada (like I'm doing now), it is not uncommon for you to receive messages back from various network entities such as Mailer-Daemon, Mailer, or perhaps Postmaster at various sites. Those messages usually are of two forms - those that can be easily ignored, and those that should be forwarded to info-ada-request for updating of the mailing list. Messages of the former kind include things such as "cannot connect to host - mail requeued", "mail not sent due to quota exceeded", etc. that indicate a problem of a (hopefully) temporary nature. Messages of the latter kind include "User unknown", and are often indicative of somebody leaving an organization and their mailbox just simply disappearing, and need to be reflected in the mailing list. -- Karl -- -------
