For those who don't remember, Deaf School resulted from a bunch of English "art" school types discovering punk in 1978-79. Bette Bright went on to do girl group covers, scoring a hit in England with "My Boyfriend's Back". Her singing style on S.G.H.A.t.L. is an imitation of Diana Ross's Supremes period style.
