If you have a Fortran-->Ada translator written in Ada, then you CAN compile and run your program. So the original question is not so easily written-off. (And in my opinion, shouldn't be, because the answer(s) are important to the success of Ada in the scientific/engineering world). Flame on ---- I for one am getting a little tired of short, nasty, replies from "real-annoyed-sender"s who pull the reply trigger before they stop and look at what they're shooting. I've seen a lot of this lately, mostly on other lists, but I think it is inappropriate to the positive exchange of information that these lists are supposed to be for. My apologies to innocent bystanders with singed terminals. Flame off. <dbs> David B. Thanks for the flame about short and sassy messages. I hate 'em too. Waste space and time reading such junk.
