[net.lang.ada] Ada '88

wsmith@uiucdcsb.CS.UIUC.EDU (06/13/86)

One of the criticisms of the Ada language has been the efficiency (or
lack there of) of the compilers for the language. I think the problem
has been due to a lack of correspondence between the language and the
processors that it was made to run on. With the new Ada '88, I surmise
that this problem will have been solved and Ada '88 will run with utmost
speed on IBM PC's and any other computer using an 8088 microprocessor.

Other computers will have to take their chances. :-)
