The recent duplication of mailings has been due in part to the hardware failure of the host acting as the gateway to the USENET newsgroup net.lang.ada. It appears to be fixed. The rash of "please remove me" messages has been due in part to people's inability to follow directions (or to perhaps even read them in the first place). Hopefully their removal from the mailing list has fixed this problem. (For those of you who don't remember, administrative mail should go to info-ada-REQUEST@ada20.isi.edu. Capitalization is provided for emphasis, not for the mailer.) -- Karl -- -------

Karl, Ironically, I got 2 copies of your message, both addresses to info-ada! From some of the problems I've been seeing, I suspect (perhaps other) problems with the local (Ada20) mailer. Cheers, Bryce -------
