We at UBC Medgen are the VAX/UNIX distributors for GLIM. As well,
we have adapted GLIM and the SGLIM interface to work (under our version
of UNIX, f77, etc., etc. If anyone out there is interested let me know
by computer mail (if you can figure out how to reach me) or paper
mail (Canada Post) willing:

GLIM, for the uninitiated is a package for doing generalized linear
models - generalized in this case meaning that
	 1. the underlying distribution may be Poisson, Binomial..., rather
		 than normal
	 2. y = f(xB) where xB is the dot product of matrix x and parameter
vector B, and f is known to be exponential, inverse, or whatever.
This allows logistic, probit, log-linear, survival, etc. regression models.

GLIM is available from
	  Numerical Algorithms Group Ltd. (NAG)
	  NAG Central Office
	  Mayfield House
	  256 Banbury Road
	  OXFORD OX2 7DE England

and must be ordered directly from them. (They then forward the request to
us, if it is for VAX/UNIX, and to another appropriate site otherwise.)
I don't recall the exact cost, but it was nominal - just enough to cover
the paper-handling, copying, and mailing.
