For those interested in skiing in New Hampshire or Maine : DON'T ! If you must, there is good manmade cover at ATTITASH in the Mt. Washington Valley area. All other areas have very poor manmade cover. Avoid the Maine resorts, especially Sunday River. They may be advertising great conditions, but gravel and slush aren't worth the drive. The general situation is very grim for New Hampshire and Maine. Last week marked the first time in fifty!! years that Mt. Washington was snow free this time of year. Hopefully colder weather and a couple of winter storms are on the way.
