Some folks at the labs here are thinking of running a trip to Utah next year (Jan. of Feb.). The debate that is currently raging, or at least whimpering, is the question of whether to go to the Park City area, to to Alta/Snowbird. I must say that I'm solidly for Alta, but that most of the people at MH are solidly for Park City. (They quote shorter lift lines, etc.) When I was at Alta, there weren't any lift lines, except on Saturday, when all the locals were leaving in disgust at the "ridiculous" 15 minutes base lines. Is that typical? <There was free space on the mountain lifts.> I haven't been to Park City, I have avoided it on it's 'party' reputation, hence I can't really assert myself. So-- I would appreciate a short note from those of you with some comparative knowledge discussing which resort you like the best, etc... mail to: rabbit!jj, allegra!jj or research!jj. <Try through harpo, it works sometimes, npoiv, mhux*, but I can't guarantee anythign.> (That's anythiNG, damnit, dyslexics of the world untie!)
