Sometimes I think these things are out of date before the rest of the world sees them. The last report (Oregon Ski Report) said Bachelor had a 24" base. As of yesterday, we claim a 54" base of powder and packed powder. Four chairs are runnning with the rest of the mountain expected to open later this week.

Base at Main Lodge: 108 inches
Temp at Main Lodge: 24 F
Temp at top of Black: 18 F
Lodges Open: 4 of 4
Lifts Open: 8 of 10 (Summit and Green closed)
Notes: Those who choose to ski off the groomed/packed
runs are skiing chest-deep in cold smoke. The
occasional person has been disappearing entirely
to re-emerge many feet downhill. One expects a
yell for help and sees only an ear-to-ear grin!richa@tekred.UUCP (Rich Amber ) (12/11/84)
