Snow information for the following ranges: or what I did for vacation...... Ruby Mountains, NV: N exposures: 9,000 feet patches, unconsolidated as of 9/16 S exposures clear to 10,800 Wasatch, UT: N exposures: 9,500 feet, large patches, consolidated as of 9/17. Someone skied down the Timp Glacier! Little base, so the skiing was sloppy, Spencer was that you? Elk Mountains, Aspen, CO: Heavy Rains and snow down to 10,000 feet all exposures. Front range, CO: Mixed showers and clear weather. Skiing down those flatirons can be tough! Temperature averages dropped 10 degrees F over three days. Snow level probably in the 12,000 range. X-C wax? I don't know, a good klister? Lifts running? None. Tram is probably running at Snowbird and other places. If you want CA information, ask.
