I am the fella with the size 15 feet. Someone told me today that a local
bike shop had size 50 XC ski boots. Last boots I tried of this size were
VERY uncomfortable, but he said they were about size 14.5 so I gave it a
shot.
They had Alpina brand, and lo and behold, they fit!!! And they're only $29.95.
Now maybe you get what you pay for, but being a student who just shelled out
the remaining savings of a student loan on an Amiga system, this price is
great! (Jan, if you're reading this, the lowest price Merrell Custom boots
are $360.)
So I guess there's hope for other budget conscious bigfoots out there...
