I know that their were some articles on snowboards last year and I would like to bring the topic up again. First: EQUIPMENT. What do you ride, are you happy with it. I have looked at the catalogs and am thinking of the Burton Cruiser. Anyone ride one of their foam/glass boards? Second: AREAS. One of the reasons that I like 'boarding better than skiing (both downhill and cross-country since I was 10) is that you can find a nice hill near your house and ride to your hearts content. Get lots of exercise walking up, and no bloody shins. However it would be fun to get in the longer rides that chair lifts and such allow. I am located in Connecticut. Does anyone know of ski areas here abouts (Vermont, Mass and New York Catskills area are all reason- ably close) that allow snowboards. I have been skiing mostly at a place in the Catskills and haven't seen any there. Also, what about Alta. I have heard that it is one of the best powder resorts. Snowboards are great in powder, so if I go on a ski week I would like to go their or another place with lots of the white fluffy stuff. Aloha
