The paper this morning mentioned that HV got 9' of snow in 
the past week or so.  Anyone heard about the rest of the
Tahoe area, or is all of N CA under too much water to get up
to the slopes?

Alas, in spite of major snowfall all through Tahoe, I heard that hiway 50
was closed "indefinitely".  Major damage.  So not only is South Tahoe (inc.
Heavenly Valley) inaccessible, but the North will be all the more crowded,
at least once they get I-80 cleared.

Looks like a long Spring season is the only sure thing coming out of this
so far.
