Subject: A C-QUEL problem Newsgroups: net.lang.c Could someone familiar with C-QUEL programs please answer the following question- Consider the following program - 1. main(argc, argv) 2. int argc; 3. char *argv[]; 4. { 5. ## char *reln; 6. ## char name[ dim1]; 7. ## ingres db 8. reln = argv[i]; 9. ## range of s is reln 10. ## retrieve ( name = s.name ) 11. ## exit 12. } I would like s.name in line 10 to be read as a command-line argument (argv) just as reln is read in line 9. It is not possible to use a C-Var pointer in place of s.name in line 10. Can this be done ??? Thanks in advance.
