Recently I noticed a reaction to my comments about Mr. Rosen's taste in "punkified drivel" etc. First I am not a deadhead. I own two dead albums and I have attended one concert. Interesting but not my personal cup of tea. My comments were designed to illistrate to Mr. Rosen how he comes accross to me. ie. very closed minded, especially on this topic. (greatful dead). Personally I don't feel that my musical tastes are a law of nature, however from the pattern I've seen on this net Mr. Rosen does. Not only that but generally he seems to be a little caustic with his "yeah not sit" type remarks to some of the questions that have come by. I would like to see the deadheads have their own net because I don't care to read tons of song lists, trivia etc and because they are probably the only group of fans that would send enough traffic to warrant it. *db* dec-rhea!dec-katadn!bottom ps: has anyone heard the new Jeff Beck album? how about a review?

That's what my comments were designed to illustrate how you come across to me: very closed minded, especially when it comes to referring to other people's tastes as "punkified drivel". Taste of your own medicine, bud, in more reasonable doses than you dished out, sir. > I don't feel that my musical tastes are a law of nature, however from the > pattern I've seen on this net Mr. Rosen does. Could someone explain what a "yeah not sit" type remark is? I'm dying to know what Mr. Bottom is talking about. And I'm sure he is, too. > I would like to see the deadheads have their own net because I don't care to > read tons of song lists, trivia etc and because they are probably the only > group of fans that would send enough traffic to warrant it. There are lots of groups for which I wouldn't care to read "tons" of anything, but I welcome discussion of all types of music by ALL types of people in a music newsgroup. Others are against such intercommunication between people, for egotistical/elitist/etc. reasons. Just don't count me among them. Life's a rough place. You actually have to share the world with other people. You don't get to say "I don't like that type of person or situation. I'm going to form/they should form their/my own newsgroup". -- "When you believe in things that you don't understand, you'll suffer.
