In a music store a year or two ago, I was told that my chances of finding any Jim Croce albums on the shelves anywhere was fairly unlikely because, since his death in 1973, there have been contract disputes regarding royalties, distribution rights, etc. I was quite lucky a few months ago and found two albums in an out- of-the-way warehouse in Massachusetts, but both had apparently been distributed under a *German* label.
