I like trivia of all sorts, but music trivia happens to be my favourite. On
the subject of titles that do not appear in the lyrics, I did post an article
for a poll on this subject, on the request of a colleague of mine who can no
longer access the net, but is able to receive mail from the people who can.

> Geez, you'd have to have had a lobotomy to be interested in such dreck!

I don't see why Doug Alan thinks that one would need to have a lobotomy to be
interested in trivia. If this is the case, there must be an awful amount of
people queuing up for their lobotomy, before they go to the store to purchase
"Trivial Pursuit".

> ("The Kick Inside"): "Saxaphone Song"
> Roy Harper ("What Ever Happened to Jugula?"): "Bad Speech",
> "Frozen Moment",
> "Advertisement (Another Intentional Irrelevant Suicide)",
> Peter Gabriel: "Family Snapshot", "Wallflower"
> Pink Floyd ("Animals"): "Dogs", "Sheep", "Pigs (Three Different Ones)"
> ("The Wall"): "In the Flesh?", "In the Flesh",
> "The Happiest Days of Our Lives", "Young Lust",
> "The Trial"
> ("Dark Side of the Moon"): "Brain Damage"

The original posting for the poll requested twice that the replies should be
sent to a path other than the path that posted the article. In a brief
followup article, people were asked NOT to send replies to the net.
After pointing out how stupid doing a particular poll is, Doug Alan then
contributes to it! It makes me wonder...
     a) When did Doug Alan have his lobotomy ?
and b) Does he know which planet he is on ?

Few points here:

1. The subject header from Doug Alans' article was "Stupidity"

2. He suggests that he would like to conduct a poll himself, but he then
asks people not to post the replies to the net, but for the replies to be
sent to me, because he seems SURE that I would be interested enough to
compile a list of them. I am not.

3. I seem to think that Doug Alan's actions are a prime case of stupidity,
and more typical of the actions of a jerk, than the actions of many people
who post articles genuinely looking for information and/or trivia.
