Tangerine Dream DID write the music for Visionquest. It got axed when it was
decided that TD soundtrack will not bring as much revenue in LP sales as
Madonna, etc. Well, so they were right! *I* would have bought the Tangerine
Dream album, most of the Madonna croud would not.

For other TD soundracks see movies : "The Keep", "Thief"...
I am sure Peter Reiher would be able to name more if asked.....

Tangerine Dream's earliest soundtrack is "Sorcerer". Very creepy, very
effective. They also wrote a soundtrack for "The Soldier", though I'm unsure if
that soundtrack was used. I think that, in addition to "Risky Business", "Thief", and "The Keep", they did some documen-
taries, but I wouldn't swear to it.
