I'm trying to enter the Obfuscated C Code contest. Can anyone tell me how to get from DDN to 'decwrl!nsc!obfuscate'? Any help greatly appreciated. Mike PAWKA@NOSC-TECR.ARPA ------

Sorry to post this to the entire net, but my individual replies to PAWKA@brl keep getting returned with an "unknown user name" message. PAWKA@brl wanted to know how to reach decwrl in order to enter the Obfuscated C Contest. The answer to the question is that you can reach the usenet from the arpanet through a gateway such as seismo that is on both the arpanet and the usenet. Since decwrl and seismo are both usenet backbone sites, decwrl can probably be reached from seismo without any other additional path information. You would just send to: seismo!decwrl!<contest address>@seismo. If you need a full path, one would be: seismo!hao!hplabs!tektronix!decvax!decwrl.
