Not to be condescending, but that's the whole REASON behind pop. An instrument that a bunch of guys and/or gals can't work out in a garage is never going to make a real dent in any but the most pretentious of pop styles. THis is why we rarely see any of the band instruments used, People also seem to be forgetting that Farfisas, Hammonds, and other electronic orgrans have been around for years. My feeling is that it is the sound of synthesizers, not their ease of playing, that has made them popular. Charley Wingate
