To order: Send check (made payable to X3 Secretariat) plus self-addressed mailing label to: X3 Secretariat/CBEMA 311 First St., NW Washington, D.C. 20001 request X3J11 "Programming Language C", $30.00 Make sure that you request the LATEST version (I think it's the July or August version); I was burned--they mailed me the older May version, even though they had the newer version on hand. Grr... At a DC-area UNIX User's Group meeting last week, it was reported that the X3J11 committee decided at its September meeting to release an *actual* proposed standard (as opposed to the draft proposed standards that have circulated up to now). This actual proposed standard is supposed to be available in a few weeks. So you may want to wait before ordering a copy of the standard. (Surely availability of the actual standard will be announced in mod.std.c.) -- UNIX is a registered trademark of AT&T. ANSI is probably a trademark of ANSI. -- UUCP: ..decvax!seismo!elsie!ado ARPA: elsie!ado@seismo.ARPA DEC, VAX, Elsie & Ado are Digital, Borden & Ampex trademarks.
