[net.lang.c] getopt

Dear reader(s),

I received a large C-program.
Every piece of software was present except one.
That is the function getopt(...).
I would be pleased if someone knew the function, has a detailed description
of it, has the source of that particulair routine or knows where to find
more information about it.

A PD version of getopt() has been posted to net.sources (maybe mod.sources,
I'm not sure which) in the past couple of months. If you can't find it
lying around anywhere, send me mail and I will send it to you.
