[net.games.video] HELP with game LOAD RUNNER

tlh@akgua.UUCP (T.L. Harris [Tom]) (12/03/84)

...
I am currently attempting to find the last screen on a game
called LOAD RUNNER. I have reached the 92nd level but got
stuck. It takes about 5 hours to get this far. Does anyone
know a quick method to moving up levels in this game (as in
MINER 2949r? I have misplaced or lost the instructions to
this game, but I don't remember any bypass data in them
anyway. Sure is one heck of a game!

Thanks in advance.

   that's an easy one!

if you are in teh middle of a game, type ,ctrl-r to end the game 1st
after the game is ended, type ctrl-e to EDIT..
you will now have a menu of sorts..from here type P (for play)
you will then be prompted for which level and you are off!!!

if you have further questions oabout the game, let me know..as i have
manuevered through ALL levels succesfully (not in one sitting though.)
also, are you aware that you can create your own levels??

In addition to the method is response #1 you can press SHIFT-CTRL-6 to skip
one level and SHIFT-CTRL-2 for an extra man up to 255(using either of these
violates your chances at getting a high score). These commands will work on
an Apple //e or //c for the ][+ I think it something like SHIFT-CTRL-s or
SHIFT-CTRL-n but I'm not sure on this. For other computers I can't help you
but try these.
