Here are a couple of more hints for Marble Madness: In the aerial race, that hammers near the end of the race can be avoided by rolling the marble along the far squares. The hammers don't seem to extend their reach past their row of squares. In the ultimate race, if your marble appears on the right side of the track, you are in luck. After you past the marble crunchers and go down the ramp, roll your marble to the right and let it bounce off the right side of the screen and die. You will reappear past the green slime next to the ice. You will lose a 1000 points for a death, but it might save you from dying 3 or 4 times going up against the slime. The people at the arcade which I go to usually end up with these times at the end of the races. This is about the fastest we seem to be able to get using one player. Practice Race : 54 secs. Beginner Race : 40 secs. Intermediate Race : 50 secs. Aerial Race : 40 - 45 secs. Silly Race : 50 secs. Ultimate Race : 20 - 30 secs. Two people that I know form a team whenever they play Marble Madness and are able to get scores of over 200,000. One player follows the other and they work as a team. That way, one player gets all the extra bonuses for winning the race.
