Anybody know where I can get a SPACE WAR game cheap? For those who don't recognize the game: SPACE WAR was a little successfull video game that came out around the time that Asteroids was just getting into the minds of vid-nuts. It was a two player game (a real one in which *both* players played at the same time) with two ships, each guided by one of the players, ziping around on the screen trying to kill each other. The game had several modifications which the players decided one (ie non-Newtonian space, black holes, asteroids). For each quarter put in the slot, it gave 2 minutes of playing time. It also had (and still has in my opinion) some of the best sound effects I've ever seen/heard. The game was great because even when you died it was a lot of fun just seeing fragments of your ship drift off into space (this program also allowed partial damage). Non-Newtonian space was especially fun because instead of driffting around on the screen like in asteroids, your ship halted every time you let your finger of the thrust button. Gave the game a real zip.
