Pascal News hadn't been published for about a year, but Charles Gaffney just took over the editorship from Rick Shaw. The NEW mailing address is: Pascal News 2903 Huntington Road Cleaveland, Ohio 44120 Subscription is $20 for 1 year; $40 for 3. Back issues are $15 a year. The current issue has a bibliography package, real number output routine, and a program to print trees on character printers. It also has long discussions of compiler test suites and language extension proposals. As Tom Slone said, by Pascal fanatics for the same. Less fanatic (and almost as informative) is the Journal of Pascal and Ada (last issue devoted to Modula-2). They tend more towards the "how to", and publish a fair number of program listings. Their address is: Journal of Pascal and Ada PO Box 384 Orem, Utah 84057 Subscription is $14/year (6 issues) or $21 outside the US. They can't be all that bad; they just bought an article from my wife. I think that both of these magazines are well worth while to folks who do some "recreational programming" in Pascal. Besides, they can use a wider audience! --Bob Hofkin (ucbvax!sdcsvax!bob)
