For delivermail users, I have split up the aliasing and domain based mailer (netmail.c) which was posted about six months ago. One mailer handles the user@site.DOMAIN stuff, and the other one uses the uucp database. This allows you to have local domains for local networks etc. For example, at Mitre we have two local domains, one for Chaosnet and one for Infomail on the IBM; each needs its own mailer. It is a reasonable solution until 4.2bsd Sendmail is finally released. Rather than post them, I will mail them to any users which want them. As far as Uucp database programs go, we have used three (buildmap, mkpath and pathalias). The pathalias one is by far the best though it does require the most work.
