Awhile back, I mentioned (or alluded to) Seismo as an example of a site that did strange things in terms of routing/header rewriting. After talking to their postmaster, I have retried the original message routings which used to fail, and they all now work correctly... thus I wish to retract my original example. (Example still exist, since one of my test messages failed because of yet another site that does it, but Seismo doesn't any more.) This does not constitute a retraction of the opinions expressed previously about the nature of mail routing, etc., however; only of the above specific example. However, it does constitute an example that you can do things right with Sendmail! (And that is encouraging, too.) Thank you to rick@seismo for pointing this out to me... -- Shyy-Anzr: J.
